Anne was working in one of the hotels in the city as an Event Manager. She has been in the hotel industry for more than five years and met lots of people from all walks of life. She loves to flirt, but she did not go far beyond that and wasn't interested in dating. She was pretty, sweet and friendly that most men have misunderstood her friendliness. They have been trying and hoping to get more attention from her and even asked her to go out for dating, but she refused. She was not an anti social, but she just couldn't erase the memory of her first love, Jim.

They met when Jim, a foreign guy, and his company were organizing an international function in the hotel she worked. They won a proposal and she was happened to be the manager in-charge of the event. It was not just a brief encounter because every day she has to be in the meeting with them. So, the two of them would always sit side by side and they just clicked. Jim would tease her by saying she's the most gorgeous woman in the world, and she would tease him back by telling him that he's the hottest man on earth. They kept on flirting with each other and laughed together.

In one of the meetings, Jim wrote something on a piece of paper and passed it over to her under the table. He was asking her if she would like to go out with him. She shot him a wicked smile. She loved the idea of dating a foreigner. So, she replied that she was so looking forward to their dating session, which made Jim, laughed. She thought he was undeniably hot and wondered what would happen between them.

They went out for drinks in one of the local clubs in town. They talked, laughed and danced, and just when she thought she was getting real close to Jim, Jim suddenly kissed her. She did not pull back. She kissed him back and when they looked at each other's eyes, they knew something special have sparked between them. They continued to hold in each other's arms with full of passion. For the first time in her adult life, she felt love. They went out almost every night and she loved it.

When the event was finally over, Jim has to go back to his country. Jim asked her to come with him, but she said she could not just leave her family. So, they made a promise that as soon as everything was settled, they would see each other again. She was waiting for that moment to come and was counting the days until one fateful day she received a very heart wrenching news. Jim was involved in an accident and could notmake it. She was devastated. She couldn't let go and still hoping that one day, Jim would come and take her with him.
